Fed up with “eco-friendly” products that wore out fast, were packed with plastic or simply greenwashed to look good but do little for the planet. Jac decided it was time for a change! Not just for herself, but for every family trying to live consciously.
So, That Eco Place was born. A place where honesty meets quality, where every product is rigorously vetted and where sustainability isn’t a marketing buzzword.

We believe the journey to living sustainably should be simple, accessible and trustworthy. That means no confusing labels, no fake claims and no compromises on quality. Just products that truly reduce waste, protect the environment and support the makers.
Our mission is to empower everyday families with real, durable alternatives that fit into busy lives helping you be the change without the overwhelm.
Meet Jac Wass
Our founder Jac isn’t your typical business owner. She’s an eco rebel, a passionate advocate and a lifelong learner on a mission to be the change.
Currently completing a Masters of Sustainable Practice at RMIT University, Jac’s commitment to the planet runs deep.
Years of researching, testing and hunting down genuinely sustainable products sparked a fire of frustration with greenwashing and low-quality “eco” goods that didn’t deliver.
That frustration turned into purpose! To create That Eco Place, a trusted space where families and individuals can find honest, durable and truly eco-friendly alternatives.
Jac believes sustainable living isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress and making better choices every day.
When she’s not handpicking products, Jac’s researching and working on new ways to bring sustainability into real life.
