About That Eco Place
That Eco Place is based in the quaint coastal village of Inverloch in South Gippsland, Victoria. A zero-waste eco store, dedicated to providing earth friendly alternatives for those striving to live a sustainable lifestyle, makes sustainability simple.
Who are we?
We would like to formally introduce ourselves, a Mother Daughter duo! Jac & Chels.
That Eco Place was created as finding good quality, functional alternatives can be arduous and counterproductive. Even after researching and reading reviews, that may or may not be authentic, it is still possible to end up with substandard items that don’t work or fall apart only to become waste itself!
Most of our products have been tested by us in our home and daily life. So that you don’t have to do the research! Making sustainably simple for everyone.
Meet Jac
Founder and eco rebel, Jac Wass, has been studying a Masters of Sustainable Practice at RMIT University and is passionate about “being the change”.
Many years of searching for and researching sustainable alternatives for everyday family living has evolved into a quest to spread the good word and help others make better choices.
Living a zero-waste lifestyle isn't easy.
Plastic is everywhere. Our food is wrapped and stored in it, our oceans are drowning in it and we are eating it as micro plastics that are entrenched in the food chain.
The environmental and social impacts of the production and use of many products is wide ranging and complex. Making better choices is vital for the health and wellbeing of us all and the world around us.
Living an Eco-friendly lifestyle doesn't mean you have to throwout all of you standard belongings to swap for an eco option! Over time once your current belongings come to the end of their life then you replace for the more sustainable option. Making small changes over time make a big impact!
“If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito” - Dalai Lama.
