INSTRUCTIONS
- Jars and Seal Lids must be washed with soap and warm water.
-Jars must be sterilised in boiling water if processing time is less than 10 minutes.
-Do not use boiling water to heat Seal Lids - Recommended water temperature is 82°C/180°F.
-When filling a hot jar be sure to leave appropriate space between prepared recipe and underside of lid.
-Use rubber spatula to remove all air bubbles.
-Clean jar rim and centre Seal Lid on jar.
-Finger tighten Seal Ring on Seal Lid and jar. Over tightening could result in seal failure during heating process.
-Seal Rings may be loosened during heating process.
-Do not retighten as this will result in seal failure
-Leave jars in an upright position for a minimum 24 hours to cool.
-Store in a dark, dry and cool place.
-Important - Seal Lids can only be used once.
-Never heat jars or lids in oven or dishwasher.
